7th month "Ge Tai" (stage show)

Yday i went to a 7th month "ge tai" (stage show) dinner. It's my first, and probaly only one for tis 7th month. It's the typical thing where they have the stage show and do bidding of auspicious 7th month items for high price for good luck and the next 7th month dinner tables. Usually i'll go to one or two of these every year. Accompanying my family la, i dun have such lobang. hehe. Some of my frens are always very surprised when they called and i'm at such "functions". They said they didn't think i'm the kinda gal that wil accompany parents to such dinners, much lest it's mostly held on open grass areas and usually u'll feel warm and sticky. haha. But i'm cool with it.. such things are traditions after all. And it's only once a year.. can be interesting too if the show is good. :)

The stage show was alrite but i was too far away to see much. One thing's for sure, the lady singers and performers were all skippily clad. hehe. The ah beis (old men) had a good time. =P

The compere for the nite was 600 (Liu Ling Ling). My aunt said she's the most popular compere for 7th month stage shows and command the highest price.
