Friendship and Love. :)

Received a sweet sms from Andee today wishing me happiness everyday. Andee hangs with a group of us gals after uni. He's jus such a sweet fren. Always very helpful, always keeps in touch with the occasional sms even though we hardly meet up nowadays. If we go to him with any problem, he sure tries his best to help. Hey dun mistake him for a sissy ok.. he's married and all.. jus a very nice fren. :)

Was talking to Raymond the other day and he asked me if i am going to look for a good husband and be a housewife.. if tat's my plan. haha
Another fren overseas asked me a similar question jus yday, whether i'm looking for a rich husband and be a tai tai or housewife. hahaha
No, i'm not guys. Not looking to be tai tai or housewife. I jus wan someone nice, and kind, and responsible, and hardworking. Faithful of cos. Tat's all. Simple requirements for a simple ordinary gal.
They both seem quite surprised. In Raymond's experience, gals either wana be tai tai, housewife, or they wana climb the career ladder, be career women.
The other fren said he felt tat s'pore gals are quite materialistic and look for the 5Cs. haha
Me, i'm jus somewhere in the middle lah. Not so extreme.. i definitely dun wana stop work n lose touch with the world, i do expect the man to provide but within means. I expect RESPECT but i can be a small woman and obliging in reasonable ways. Hey isnt all these normal?? I tot i'm normal.. haha

Anyway, i think a lot of men are materialistic too. They expect their partner to have some status or middle-high income. Some wun even accept gals that are too lowly incomed.. They call it practicality.. having to support some kinda standard of living... i say it's jus the same thing as the women looking at 5Cs. The criterias are there before love moves in...

Rare to find men tat wana pamper u like a princess and be good to u, take care of u like w/o conditions. Hey.. speaking of which i know some reali rare breed amongst my frens huh?... Frank, Brandon, Winston, Luke, Raymond... wow... Takers anyone? :)
