B'day BBQ

On sat nite i had a BBQ in celebration of my birthday. I only invited two groups of my closest frens (Ivy, Jane, Huimei and partners and Leslie, Kym, Kah Lip and partners and frens). And of cos my family, grandmom, aunties, cousins etc. All in all, it was rather crowded with over thirty ppl. But the nite was cool and the food fabulous and i guess everyone had a good time. It was cloudy and thundering in the evening and i had worried tat the rain would spoil the event. But the weather cleared up after a tiny drizzle and the nite became cool becos of tat. I guess god loves me too! :)

I reali have to thank my aunt for everything. She prepared almost everything for me, from buying food, marination, cooking food, utensils, cups, paper etc etc. I only had to get the tables, chairs and icebox and buy the pits and charcoals. I had my frens bought ice, butter and fire-start on their way over, and the fires were started by a few of the guys. So, i reali dint have to do much for my BBQ! Only planning. Tat's management position!!! hahaha. But seriously, thanks everyone. I know i'm fortunate and well-loved. Not taking it for granted. :)

Ivy, Jane and Huimei prepared a cake for me too. So sweet.

I was quite busy throughout the BBQ and dint eat much but i reali enjoyed the nite and am grateful for everyone tat showed up.

My aunt also helped me clear up and clean up the house after the BBQ. Thank goodness for tat. I wouldnt have known where to start! The house was quite dirty and messy indeed after the BBQ.
