Dalai Lama

My sweetheart, A , has just attended Dalai Lama's lecture in New York State and i asked him wat the talk was about. A said tat basically, everyone shd have a compassionate heart regardless of religion, culture, ethnicity, nationality, race etc. When one has a compassionate heart, one will be able to attain his inner peace of mind. And when one is genuinely kind and helps others or gives of oneself genuinely, one will receive goodness and happiness in return. And tat kind of happiness is unmeasurable and unattainable by material possessions or acheivements.

I do agree with wat Dalai Lama said. It's like the incident i relate the other day. I merely helped someone hold open a glass door but the thanks and wishes make my heart profusely glad in return.

U think different ppl may learn less or more things or different things from Dalai Lama's talk, depending on their enlightenment? Or the purpose of the talk is to enlighten all anyway? hmmm..
