Divers united.. in their passion.. Welcome to the deep blue sea!

Yday i went with Ivy to a fren's divers gathering. The fren, Roysten, is an avid diver and had invite ppl on their divers' forum to a small private gathering at his roof garden above his office. The new found frens tat we met there are all enthusiastic divers, very "onz" and passionate about diving. They've logged like 70 to 100-200 dives etc. And Ivy and me are like.. we've logged less than 10 dives, only go diving once a year or two years! We both have to take a refresher course everytime we decide to dive. hahahaha
I do like diving and have been in the sport about 8 years and Ivy about 3 years. But i guess we like it but we're not very passionate about it. When u're passionate about something, it turns into an expensive hobby. hahaha
All the trips to go to, equipments to buy... :P
It's the same with all interests: golf, boating, fishing or anything else.
But i'm glad i went to the gathering becos i had a very relaxing evening and met some reali nice ppl. There were nice champagne and pizza as well. Everyone had light chit chats, lots of laughs and basically had a great time. And we saw some dive pics and videos of their recent dive trips! The sealife.... is AMAZING. Kindles me and Ivy's longings to go diving again soon... hahaha
And also, Roysten had engaged two sexy dancers to dance and entertain and a barmaid to pour the champagne, so the mood was enliven til everyone was sufficiently intoxicated.. hahaha
I dint drink much of cos.. jus some sips throughout.. :)
We all left home with promises of emails, catch ups, coffees and dive trips soon.
Great evening.
