Hazy Mid Autumn Festival
PSI was an all time high yesterday morning, luckily I wasn't out of the house till late evening. But the PSI did not get any better, it was like 100plus at night. Nevertheless, still gotta eat, so went to AMK with my family to check out a coffeeshop that serves yummy crabs. Waited for half a hour before it came, by the time, I was absolutely famished cos' i only had 2 slices of bread at noon. It's well-worth the long wait, cos' it was simply delicious. It's not the normal chilli nor the black pepper crab but white pepper with cheese gravy...mmmm..yummlicious! finger licking good...hahaha...the flesh was succulent and even the claws are chewy and springy. Usually I wld give that part a miss cos' it is mostly tough and too big a piece while the body is more sweet and juicy. But the crabs here were fantastic! We finished every bit of it...hahaha
After dinner, we went for a ride, went up to Mount Faber, all hazy nothing much to see. We moved on to Labrador park. It was exceptionally quiet & deserted mainly becos of the haze, I guess. But I think it was quite nice with less traffic and no crowd. We found a nice restaurant at carparkA that serves good cheesecakes but din attempt as we were still full from the dinner. But we decided that we will be back next week :) At carpack B, there were more activities, people fishing and some groups of youngsters gathering to celebrate the festival with lanterns and sparklers in a hazy environment. Quite a nice ambience. We hanged around for a while, strolling by the seaside, listening to music from my phone ;) My eyes were playing tricks on me (its the haze actually), kept think that my specs is dirty and kept wanting to clean it hahaha. But it also made my eyes quite tired, had no choice but to call it a night...quite a memorable Mid Autumn Festival this year...
